Mary Ann Burke, PT, MS, GCS is the Executive Director of North County Physical Therapy. For over 18 years, Mary Ann has been providing Northern San Luis Obispo County with superior Physical Therapy services. She has an advanced certification in geriatric rehabilitation and has lectured extensively on arthritis, joint replacement rehabilitation, geriatric fitness, and women's health issues. Mary Ann is an avid runner and enjoys being active in our community.

Stephen J. Daillak, MPT, received a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from California State University at Chico in 1997. In 2001, he received a Masters in Physical Therapy from California State University at Long Beach. Stephen has expertise in Vestibular Rehabilitation and has had great success in treating patients who suffer from acute and chronic dizziness, balance disorders, and head injuries. Stephen enjoys spending time with his family and cheering for his beloved Los Angeles Dodgers.

Michael D. Sherman, MS, PTA, RCEP, CGFI is a versatile health care provider with over 20 years of experience in Physical Therapy, fitness & wellness, and chronic disease management. Michael is a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certified by the American College of Sports Medicine. He is the only TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instuctor in San Luis Obispo County and leads NCPT Golf Performance program. Michael enjoys surfing, golf, and world travel.

Valerie A. Assemi, MPT received a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo in 1999. In 2002, she received a Masters in Physical Therapy from California State University at Long Beach. Valerie has expertise in neurological disorders including stroke, head injury, Parkinson's, spinal cord injury, and thoracic outlet syndrome. She excels in the treatment of cervical pain and headaches. She is a clinical instructor, training physical therapy students from a variety of universities. Valerie, a lifelong fitness enthusiast, enjoys running and swimming.

Steven W. Hodgson, MPT received a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo in 1999. In 2002, he received a Masters in Physical Therapy from California State University at Long Beach. An avid triathlete, Steven has special interest in sports medicine including sport performance training, cycle fitting, ACL screening and injury prevention, and foot and ankle conditions. Steven is a clinical instructor, training physical therapy students from a variety of universities. Additionally, Steven has had extensive training and experience in wound care.

Kelly Gruenloh, MPT recently relocated to the Central Coast having completed a 2 year residency in Orthopedic Manual Therapy at the prestigious Grimsby Institute in San Diego, California. A member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, Kelly brings a wealth of orthopedic knowledge and skill to our clinics. She has a special interest in the treatment of cervicogenic headaches and has had great success in treating this condition. In her free time, Kelly enjoys golfing and hiking.

Kristin Lo, DPT received her Bachelors of Science in Health Science from Loma Linda University in 2005. In 2008, she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University. Kristin has relocated to the central coast from San Diego County where she practiced at Rancho Physical Therapy. Her expertise includes foot and ankle rehabilitation and sport related injuries. Kristin enjoys playing volleyball, racquetball and mountain biking.
