Joint Replacement Program
Education and treatment for pre-op and post-op ankle, knee, hip and shoulder arthroplasty.  

Spine Program
Identification of possible causes relating to back and neck pain, education and treatment of spinal dysfunction, therapeutic exercise, postural education, pain management and stabilization techniques with modalities employed as needed.

Sports Medicine Program
Rehabilitation of athletic injuries, injury prevention training, sports conditioning, and core muscle strengthening.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
Education and treatment, utilizing the principles of exercise testing and prescription, for patients with a variety of cardiopulmonary conditions including hypertension, COPD, coronary artery disease and coronary artery bypass graft.

Pediatric Physical Therapy Program
Offering a certified Pediatric Physical Therapist to treat infants and children. Appropriate diagnoses include torticollis, patello-femoral syndrome, shoulder instability, joint sprains, sport injuries, cerebral palsy, and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

Offering a certified Vestibular Physical Therapist to treat Benign Positional Vertigo, cervical vertigo, unilateral vestibular dysfunction, balance disorders and traumatic brain injury.

Wound Care Program
Treatment that expedites healing and decreases risk of infection for venous stasis ulcers, burns, diabetic feet, and infections.

Industrial Medicine / Return To Work Program
Work-injury treatment focused on regaining full function with rapid return to work. A Functional Evaluation system can be used to objectively measure patient’s ability to perform his/her job. Ergonomic assessments are available.

Wellness Program
Individualized exercise testing and physical conditioning program for weight control, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and strengthening.

Geriatric Program
Patient education, treatment and management of chronic diseases including osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis, general deconditioning, diabetes, Parkinson’s and CVA. We address fall prevention, balance training, range of motion, endurance and strength training for the elderly.

Women's Health Program
Treatment and education of issues/conditions such as osteoporosis, prenatal fitness, post-mastectomy, weight reduction and exercise.

Pain Management Program
Treatment and strategies for coping with chronic pain. Employs therapeutic exercise, electrical stimulation, and body mechanics training.

Golf Performance Program
Led by Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Professional, Michael Sherman. NCPT Golf Performance helps golfers by assessing physical limitations and pain. Through video analysis, we can correlate the physical assessment with a golfer's swing faults. Our professionals provide a fitness prescription and provide the training needed to improve your game.

North County Physical Therapy contracts with Leslyn Keith, OT; the only certified Lymphedema Specialist in San Luis Obispo County.

Headache Program
Evaluation and treatment of cervicogenic, tension, and migraine headache types. Utilizes a variety of treatment strategies including joint mobilization, postural exercise, soft tissue mobilization, biofeedback, traction of specific facets, and suboccipital release.

Balance and Fall Prevention
Evaluation of the causes of imbalance and treatment consisting of strengthening and balance exercises, recommendations for ambulatory assistive devices, and strategies around the home and in the community.

Spinal Decompression
For the treatment of herniated spinal disc, stenosis, degenerative disc disease, and osteoarthritis. Utilizes gentle traction in order to relieve pressure from spinal nerves thus minimizing or eliminating pain.
